Nigeria Police Screening Date 2024: The screening date for the approved/selected applicants for the 2024 Nigeria Police Recruitment exercise has been announced. This information was announced to the public via the Nigeria police portal at https://alpha.policerecruitment.gov.ng. So, if selected applicants are to prepare themselves for this exercise, any candidates who don’t comply will be disqualified.
The Police Service Commission has approved January 8, as the date for screening successful applicants for recruitment into the constable cadre of the Nigeria Police Force.
According to the Nigeria Police spokesperson, a total of 416,270 applicants were found to have met the initial Federal Character Commission requirements for the next stage of the exercise
These successful candidates are made up of 101,205 for the specialist cadre, and 315,065 for General Duty. You are expected to receive a letter of invitation on or before the 23rd of December 2023.
Nigeria Police Screening Date 2024
An invitation has been sent to all candidates who successfully submitted the online registration for recruitment into the Police Force as police constables for the Automated Physical and Credentials Screening Exercise.
This screening is finally scheduled to hold from, January 8, to January 29, 2024, starting at 7am daily at the State Police Headquarters in their various states of origin nationwide. Nigeria Police Screening Requirements 2024
Consequently, all selected candidates are to appear at the screening ground with a clean white T-shirt and shorts with other mandatory basic screening requirements, neatly arranged in two (2) white flat files with a recent passport photograph attached:
- Evidence of physical/mental fitness from a government-recognized Medical Hospital
- Evidence of Good character from Village/District Head of the applicant
- Certificate of Origin duly signed by the Local Government Chairman or Secretary
- National Identity Number (NIN) – Slip Print-out
- Original and duplicate copies of credentials – O’ Level Result(s), Birth Certificate/Declaration of Age
- Print-out of application form
- Duly completed Guarantor’s form
- Invitation slip
Any candidate who fails to present all items mentioned above will not be considered for screening. Applicants are equally advised to pay attention to their scheduled date and time (January 8, to January 29, 2024, starting at 7am daily), other details, and specific guidelines on the screening exercise.
