Eligibility Criteria for Supervisory Presiding Officer:

If you are more interested in working as a Supervisory Presiding officer, then you must meet the following requirements:

1. You must hold a position as a Public/Civil Servant at grade level 10-14 or be a Registration Area Officer/INEC staff not engaged in other duties (GL 10-14).
2. The applicant must be able to speak and write English fluently. Failure to do so will affect your chances
3. You must be physically and mentally fit to carry out your duties; if you are not physically or mentally fit, please do not bother applying
4. You are expected to have a valid means of identification that could be your NIN, Voter’s Card, international passport or Driver’s license
5. Applicants must have a smartphone (Android or iPhone) to access and operate the INEC PRES app.

Eligibility Criteria for Presiding Officer and Assistant Presiding Officer:

If your intention is to serve as a Presiding Officer or Assistant Presiding officer, you must be either of the following:

1. Currently serving as a Corps member.
2. A student of a federal/state tertiary institution in Nigeria with IT knowledge.
3. A permanent staff of an MDA with an OND qualification or within GL 07-10.
4. A former corps member within 2021, i.e., 2021, 2022, 2023).
5. You must be able to speak and write English fluently.
6. You must be physically and mentally fit to carry out their duties.

Eligibility Criteria for Registration Area Technical Support:

If you are interested in working as a Registration Area Technical support, you must

1. Applicants must have an IT background.
2. You must be a suitable INEC ICT staff (state & HQ) of the commission that is engaged in other duties.
3. Applicants must not be affiliated with any political party.
4. You must not have demonstrated or expressed support for any candidate or party.
5. If you are a Registration Area Technical Support (RATECH), applicants must not necessarily reside in the state they apply for.
